About This Course

Welcome to Digital Logic Design! In the course, you will work to develop an advanced level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to understand the basics of how digital computers operate.

In this course, you will learn how digital logic circuits operate. The course will focus on the approaches used in the design and analysis of both combinational and sequential logic circuits.

You will gain hands-on practical experience using digital logic design tools and hardware description languages (e.g. VHDL) as well as Xilinx FPGA devices. Topics include, number systems, minimization, Karnaugh Maps, multiplexers, decoders, encoders, code converters, comparators parity circuits, shifters, and VHDL.
